The Improponibili (a name that roughly translates as “the Unproposables”) are a band that was launched as the result of a cutting-edge web project. Michele (bass), Marcello (drums) and Sem (guitar) were looking for a singer to fit in with the band's style, so they decided to set up a website (www.singerwanted.net) on which anyone who wanted to put themselves forward for the job of singer could download the group's instrumental backing tracks, sing over them and send back the MP3s complete with vocals. The site proved to be a great success, with more than 230 visitors from every corner of the globe taking the time to register, many of whom then sent in their demos. The group was particularly struck by the vocal talents of Maurizio, who has shown himself to be exceptionally versatile and very much attuned to the band's music. At last, Michele, Marcello and Sem have found their perfect singer – this is how the Improponibili came together.
