The band was first put together in year 2000, under the name 'Dead poets', and during the first year we focused on covers of various hard rock bands. Soon enough, however, we felt the urge to write and play our own music: we started working on our first demo 'Some1', released in 2003, and chanded the band name to Homerun. The name choice is both a tribute to the famous LP by Gotthard, and a good description of our sound, that in our ideas had to be tight, fast and tough as a home run hit.
