Three years after "Shamanic Passage Through The Embers" Transit Poetry from Berlin continue their spiritual expedition and honour the element 'earth'. "Evocation Of Gaia' is the third part of the element cycle which dedicates water, fire, earth and air each a complete album in order to create a bigger unit that combines different musical and lyrical elements to a total work of art. As the album title suggests "Evocation Of Gaia" is dedicated to mother earth and celebrates our creator in danceable and stirring hymns. But not only are Transit Poetry celebrating life itself, they're also criticising the exploitation of nature, animals and men by the Western civilisations directly and indirectly. Especially in "Vegan Revolution", in which the band unmistakably avows themselves to a vegan way of living, the lack of respect of human beings towards their fellow creatures and the fact that profit-making thinking and greed seem to be the only motor for many people is denounced. Transit Poetry want to arouse their listeners and want to move something. But also poetry isn't missed out, since the lyrical texts offer the listener a lot of space to wallow between big images and metaphors.
