The band Roy&Ádám started in 1998, celebrating their 10th anniversary with a 17-concert tour and a sold-out gig in Petőfi Csarnok this year. So far they have 5 studio albums with record label Sony-BMG Hungary. The band also has 16 music videos and several awards: 2 MAHASZ Aranyzsiráf awards (Hungarian Grammy): 1999 - modern rock album of the year, 2001 - record of the year; 1999 Rockvoks award - Roy, singer of the year; Huszka Jenő award - Ádám, songwriter of the year, etc. Roy & Ádám was the support act for such bands as Kool & The Gang, Pet Shop Boys, Mel C, and Hungarian legendary band LGT in front of 200.000 people. Besides approximately 1500 concerts in Hugary, the guys performed in the United States in New York's well known Cafe Wha?, the venue that Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan played a couple of times, they also had gigs in Austria, Slovakia and Germany. The trio's latest album includes a cover of Madonna's song 'Music', that also has a video which made the frontpage story of scandal-blog www.perezhilton.com, piquing tens of thousands peoples' interest. The band currently works on it's English material...
