Hannover has been for a long time a stronghold for melodic Metal/Hard Rock. In the seventies their was a potent and vital rockscene here which stretched through all of Europe and even America delivering bands such as the Scorpions who became the figurehead of the Hannover movement. In the eighties it was bands like Thunderhead, Fair Warning and Victory who kept the scene alive. Now with Nikki Puppet, a worthy successor has been found to carry on the tradition. „...man in blue, it..s up to you - you..re just a power seeker!“ Female-Fronted Heavy Rock – that are NICKY GRONEWOLD (voc), ANKE „Basspüppi“ SOBEK (bass), CHRISTOS MAMALITSIDIS (git) and FLORENTIN ADOLF(dr) – better knowen as NIKKI PUPPET. Their style is just pure rock with a singer you just can..t get a rid of: charismatic vocals, polished, authenticated songwriting, razorsharp solos and heavy riffs! After their highly praised debut „PUPPET ON A STRING“ (Nov. 2005) one year later they released their second CD „MILITANT MOTHER“ (Feb. 2007) both CD..s were produced by HERMAN FRANK in the Recordingstudio “Arena 20” in Hannover, Germany, just like the new album „POWER SEEKER“.
