los alamos formed in the beginnings of 2004 in buenos aires. their first album, "no se menciona la soga en casa del ahorcado" was released in 2005 and led them to be named "revelation of the year" by rolling stone south america. in 2006, they released an ep called "emboscada," which brought them to chile (twice), uruguay (three times), and to brazil on a tour with lee "scratch" perry. in may of 2008, the band released their second album "el fino arte de la venganza," and immediately began touring through argentina and brazil, playing for crowds of upwards of 5,000 spectators. they will embark on their first european tour from august-october, playing in germany, switzerland, france, and spain in a variety of clubs, theaters, and festivals, both large and small. "el fino arte de la venganza" can be found in music stores throught argentina, as well as in the united states on cdbaby.com, and france through anticraft music. los alamos has had the honor of sharing the stage with artists such as: lee scratch perry (brazlian tour, 2007) os mutantes (brazil 2007) calexico (buenos aires, la trastienda, 2007) the evens (niceto club, buenos aires 2007) devendra banhart (niceto club, buenos aires, 2006).
