Domenica is a heavy grunge rock band with modern undertones, that started in Western Canada in 2004.

Since then, the band has toured Canada and the USA relentlessly, expanding their North American reach. In 2008, this reach extended to Germany and the UK, where Domenica performed at the Popkomm and Musexpo Europe festivals.

Shortly thereafter, Domenica hit Matt Sorum´s (Guns n´ Roses/Velvet Revolver) private Hollywood, CA studio to record their debut CD. Marcos Curiel (P.O.D.) had crossed paths with singer/songwriter/guitarist Bekki Friesen, and was keen on lending a creative hand as well. Together, Marcos and Bekki co-wrote 3 songs on Domenica´s debut studio recording, -The Luxury-.
