Day Of Decay

DAY OF DECAY emerged from the ashes of the two local metal bands Wolfmoon and Dark Wintermoon in winter 2003/2004, in order to destroy the stages of Hesse, Germany, Europe and eventually the world after spending some time rehearsing. The music itself is best described simply by the words Death Metal. It offers a great variety from violent grooves to intense melodies. The impact of that mixture could be proved at the bands live premiere at the Domizil in Giessen. DAY OF DECAY impressively passed their acid test in front of an audience of around 100 people. The next highlight was the self-organised gig at the Einhaus in Asslar, together with the local deathgrinders of Fleshripper with an audience of 140. Several gigs followed and the self-released EP -Tortured Soul- has been recorded with Tomas Hochmuth in his Red Room studio.
