The Band Lotus Feed was originally founded in 1995. Followed by several line-up changes, founding members Alex (vocals) and David (drums) met guitarist Marten and bassist Lars, who completed the band in 2009. Ever since the band emerged as an insiders´ tip of the cologne oldschool-goth and post punk scene. Different in appearance and musical preference, the band members are influenced by the same roots: Bands like Joy Division, The Cure, Bauhaus, Killing Joke they all grew up with. So the Sound of Lotus Feed can be described as an impulsive drum and bass section added with singing, haunting guitarlicks that build the foundation for expressive vocals.
